We are always looking for creative and innovative writers to become our contributors. We regularly update this page, so make sure you stay updated with the latest guidelines.

 

To become a writer/author at Code Recipe follow the below mentioned guidelines:

Any article less than 1000 words will be automatically rejected.

​

Refer to our recent posts to get an idea of what kind of articles we publish. You can start by suggesting the topics you could write on, or you can email the rough draft of your content idea using Google doc link. Only per-approved topics will be reviewed and published.

 

We accept articles in these categories:

1. Data structures

2. Algorithms

3. System Design

4. Solution to coding questions

[Guidelines – Must Follow] How you should pitch?

​

1. Must have 1000+ words with 2-3 keywords optimized in the content.

2. The subject line of your email – Contribution to Code Recipe – [Topic of your article]

3. In the email tell us about yourself – 1 paragraph, your previous article links (if any).

4. Share the Google doc link of your guest pitch in the email. Do not attach word document to email.

5. If you are using images, Facts, Stats from other sources, please provide credits link.

6. Social media handle links – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn

Don'ts:

​

• Please don’t send us sales pitches or product promotions.

• Do not promote any product or service in your guest blog post.

• Don’t include too many external links in the article. Only legit links are allowed.

• The content should not be published anywhere else before Code Recipe.

• No plagiarism. Content should not be copied from anywhere. It may get you banned from future submission on our site. We do a strict plagiarism check for copied content using automated tools.

• NO GRAMMATICAL mistakes will be accepted.
